Burjeel Hospital is in major English news with Professor Dr. Basil Ammori, Consultant – General Surgery. Shannon pipes, 35 was battling with her weight since adulthood. She had tried almost every diet but struggled to shift her excess weight, exposing her to serious health problems. 

 

“We expect Shannon to lose two thirds of her excess weight within a year,” said Dr Basil as he will perform a Roux-en-Y procedure. The management has offered to step in and help Shanon Pipes to reduce her weight.
